Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your use of DPA Intel (intel.defensepoliticsasia.com), operated by Defense Politics Asia ("DPA", "we", "us"). By accessing DPA Intel, you agree to these terms.
1. Eligibility
Access to DPA Intel is exclusive to active members of Defense Politics Asia at the Officer or General tier on Patreon, or the equivalent membership tier on DPA's YouTube channels (Defense Politics Asia, DPA War, DPA News, DPA Open Mic). Membership must remain active to retain access.
2. Account Access
You may log in using your Patreon account or your Google account linked to an eligible YouTube membership. Your access is personal and non-transferable. You must not share your login credentials or session with others.
3. Permitted Use
DPA Intel content — including intelligence summaries, maps, pins, and analysis — is provided for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not:
- Redistribute, republish, or resell any content from DPA Intel
- Scrape, crawl, or automate access to the platform
- Use the content for commercial purposes without written permission from DPA
- Share screenshots or excerpts in a way that misrepresents DPA's analysis
4. Intellectual Property
All content on DPA Intel, including analysis, maps, and data visualisations, is the intellectual property of Defense Politics Asia. Unauthorised reproduction is prohibited.
5. Accuracy of Information
DPA Intel provides geopolitical intelligence and analysis based on open-source information. Content is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional, legal, financial, or military advice. DPA makes no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of information.
6. Termination of Access
Your access to DPA Intel will be suspended or revoked if:
- Your Patreon or YouTube membership lapses or is cancelled
- You violate these Terms of Service
- DPA determines, at its sole discretion, that your use is harmful to the platform or its members
7. Service Availability
DPA Intel is provided on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time without notice.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DPA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of DPA Intel or reliance on its content.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of DPA Intel after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
